Welcome to Zoanda, home of the book dedicated to helping you write amazing and dynamic reports for Infor SunSystems using the powerful Query and Analysis (Q&A) / Vision 6 reporting tools.

This book is now quite old, 14 years to be exact! Infor SunSystems is now finally in a multi-tenant cloud environment and Q&A has joined it, remaining the standard reporting and analysis tool for SunSystems. In reality much of the way the users interacts with Q&A has changed little over the years. While I ponder whether an updated version of the book is in order, below is a bit of the history of this product and the book that helped users work with it. It is still available to buy, but please be aware that the versions it covers haven't been current for many years (which is not to say people aren't still using them).

Vision 6 XL, later rebranded as Query and Analysis (Q&A) was the reporting package of choice for most users of the Infor SunSystems accounting application and still is in its current version. However many users were not getting the full benefits of this powerful and flexible reporting tool. The book covered how to:

Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, aged debtors and actual v budget account listings.
Create flexible listing reports, including sub-totals, expand controls and customised formatting.
Use Macros and data-selectors to make your reports more intuitive and user-friendly.
Send your journals and other data into SunSystems from Excel without any re-keying.

I am the author, Andrew Reynolds, and my mission when writing this was to make the it the 'missing manual' for Q&A. I was a Senior SunSystems Consultant at FinanSys Solutions and Sapphire Systems (now NTT Data), both leading reseller of Infor SunSystems, headquartered in London but working internationally. I have implemented Sun, Q&A and various other Sun-related software for many different clients and after being asked for the 100th time if there was a manual for Q&A I decided to write one myself.

The book is still available from Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com but please be aware that some of the sections have now been superseded before deciding to buy a copy (you can read the first part about the different versions in the preview). Perhaps wait for the update, its only been 14 years in the making...
